PAMELA CARD

Driven by a love of art history, Pamela Card utilizes such ancient techniques as hand-forging and lost wax-casting when hand-crafting her jewelry. Everything is made locally in Vancouver from sterling silver—alone or 24K gold-plated—and often references Byzantine, Roman, and Ottoman art, as seen here in designs that nod to Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, ancient Roman coins, and more.

The buy: the bust-like pendant necklace, inspired by The Three Graces statue at the Palácio de Estoi in Portugal.
